Finally...a great tool with great support
I have been using Moxtra for around a month now after trying 6 other collaboration apps.
I have implemented it in a very busy real estate team and seen them create great organization and efficiency as a result. Ive used it to manage the maintenance for 133 rental properties and can finally stay on top of our activities. And Ill soon be using it as a platform for mentoring and conducting webinars for students in our college planning service.
During this time, Ive been in direct contact with members of the Moxtra team. They reached out to me after I submitted a support ticket. They respond personally to my questions and even use the built-in meeting ability to help me use the app better. And they take feature requests seriously.
Heres why I recommend the app:
-instant connection between team members. This thing connects faster than text!
-the ability to assign and track action items, including using due dates and reminders to check up on an assigned task
-the ability to upload documents, then immediately start a video chat, and mark up those documents or pics in the course of the meeting. This alone has been so helpful!
-integration with other apps, especially Evernote.
-the fact that each deal or project has its own "binder". Now things are organized and tracked according to their relevance.
Ok. What I hope will be improved:
-a separate category for events that affect a project and need to be on a calendar. Currently I schedule these events as if they are meets within the team.
-the ability to fully archive a binder into some sort of file archive--perhaps an html archive. Real estate files and communications need to be saved for a number of years.
The app is solid and has taken a coveted space on my bottom menu in my iPhone. If you need to virtually collaborate, share documents and pictures, track progress, and meet easily without using an extra app-Moxtra seems to have figured it out.
